Our team is seeking an experienced FW Designer who will be responsible for embedded software development as a member of project teams. You can be placed in Seinäjoki, Tampere or Turku.

Your daily responsibilities would include embedded software design, implementation and verification by using modern development tools. Other responsibilities would be product maintenance, change management and technical consultancy for other professionals.

We expect you have several years work experience in resource constrained MCU platforms, bare-metal firmware development and RTOS environments. We also appreciate experience in C/C++, Python and DevOps practices. To be successful in this position, you need to know, how embedded microcontroller hardware and software interact with each other. Familiarity with safety-related real-time systems and Linux development are considered as an advantage. SW development skills, such as experience using CI/CD- toolchain and hardware debuggers are required.

We expect you to have B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in relevant technical studies, good teamwork skills and willingness for continuous learning. If you are an active, self-imposed and flexible person we are more than happy to welcome you to our team at Epec!
