As the Head of AI Research at Basware, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic approach to adopting and utilizing generative AI technologies to optimize business operations, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation. You will collaborate closely with various functions across the organization to identify, prioritize, and develop/rollout generative AI solutions, ranging from evaluating commercial off-the-shelf products to creating internal tools and applications. Your leadership will guide the creation, implementation, and adoption of AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

• Some hands-on proficiency in machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning concepts.
• Experience in evaluating commercial AI products and solutions.
• Ability to guide and collaborate with Solution Architects in designing AI-powered applications.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices related to AI technologies.

Qualification Requirements:

• A Bsc/Beng degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in AI research, development, and implementation, preferably in a SaaS or technology-oriented organization.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and managing AI projects, from conception to deployment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous AI-related work, publications, or projects is a plus.
• Industry certifications in AI, machine learning, or related fields are desirable.
