Epec is a heavily developing and growing technology company in the area of control systems, electromobility and autonomous vehicles. Now we are looking for a a project management professional to strengthen our team. You can be placed in any of Epec main offices in Finland (Seinäjoki, Tampere, Turku, Kuopio) or we can discuss other locations as well – flexible remote work is possible at Epec.

What kind of tasks?

You would be responsible for managing and leading complex projects for off-highway and commercial vehicle industry. Your main task will be delivering projects with agreed schedule, budget and scope. You would be responsible for budgeting, resource & project task planning and follow, project reporting, stakeholder management and overall delivery of the agreed project management tasks and deliverables.

What we expect from you?

We expect you to have a proven track record of successfully finalized projects that include working with engineering teams focusing on software development, electrics & electronics, mechanics and simulation. Experience on leading projects with functional safety requirements is essential. ISO 26262 knowledge is considered as benefit. Understanding of automotive development processes such as ASPICE and IATF16949 knowledge are advantages. Experience on batteries and especially on battery management systems are considered as a benefit. Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken, are essential for this position. To be successful in this position, you should be able to handle complex issues under complex and uncertain circumstances. You must be able to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and have excellent leadership and management skills.
