Are you a highly motivated security expert, passionate about protecting company assets and enabling a team to succeed? We seek an enthusiastic individual for the position of Security Operations Manager to be responsible for our Security Operations Center together with a team - detecting and responding to cyber-attacks on Basware's cloud services and internal IT solutions.

In this role, you will develop and improve security monitoring capabilities by creating dashboards and alerts in SIEM tools, enhancing use cases and processes for incident detection, and executing countermeasures. Additionally, you will train and support operations staff responsible for 24/7/365 detection and response.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you need to have a strong experience in security operations, including intrusion detection and prevention, log analysis, and threat intelligence. Having a CISSP certification is an asset that we appreciate, but it is not a requirement.

You will have relevant experience in conducting or managing incident response for organizations; working with security architects performing threat modeling; incident remediation, understanding targeted attacks, and the ability to create remediation plans for compromised organizations. You will have a good knowledge of secure network architecture, network operations, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and infrastructure (Windows/Linux).

Forensic Analysis is an advantage, e.g., a background using a variety of forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise, this may also include network forensics and malware analysis.

Since our company operates in an international environment, fluent spoken and written English language skills are a must. Moreover, good interpersonal skills and effective communication play a key role in our success.
