Senior Developer (Retail Devices & Solutions)

Veikkaus Retail Devices & Solutions is a forerunner in applying new technologies and bold experimentation when it comes to development of devices and platforms for multi-channel gaming experience. We are now looking for a Senior Developer to join our agile design and development team. The position is permanent and full-time. 

As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing the technological solutions, and best practices for our current and future gaming platform products. 

Main responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing new features for the slot machine platform – in close cooperation with Veikkaus’ other development teams
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies that will take our land-based operations to the next level

Successful candidates will have:

• At least several years of experience with modern C++ 
• Experience in developing REST interfaces
• Knowledge and understanding of Linux environment
• Proven track record from software development

Considered as a plus:

• Experience with modern C++ standards (C++17/20)
• Knowledge of backend development
• Familiarity working with large code bases
• Python scripting experience
• Experience with Qt/QML
