Solution Manager, Client Endpoint Services
As a Solution Manager, you will oversee the Client Endpoint Services solution area, leading the development and maintenance of the solutions together with the virtual team and selected vendors. You will drive the development based on business and technology requirements, ensuring their smooth functioning and robustness together with the virtual team you lead. You participate in service desk operation on the 2nd /3rd line and on-call support for the service desk team.
You will be responsible for the management and development of the client device services catalog and will oversee the processes related to lifecycle management. Your focus will be on maximizing the net business value, implementing process improvements, and acting as the domain expert for day-to-day operations. Additionally, you will provide support, gather input from stakeholders, and maintain an updated roadmap aligned with business goals. Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors, you will develop solutions and ensure adherence to best practices. Your role will encompass cost management, security considerations, training coordination, and solutions documentation.
You will be on-call (16-17) for one week at a time, repeating every three weeks.
Who are we looking for?
The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, coupled with strong presentation skills. You have an experience in a multi-site and cultural working context and the ability to thrive in diverse environments. Your ability to prioritize tasks effectively, alongside your proficiency in managing processes, make a great fit.
Also, your prior experience should encompass the following:
- Prior hands-on experience with solution and process development in traditional project models and agile development methods
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and vendors
- Knowledge of IT service management principles, including ITIL basics, security awareness, and understanding of information security risks
- Proficiency in business development needs and expectation management
- Skilled in roadmap planning with stakeholders and operative service management
- Familiarity with Microsoft endpoint device management solutions like Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Defender for Endpoint
The role doesn't involve managing direct reports, but having experience in managing/overseeing projects and teams is considered a valuable bonus.

The team delivers a unified & quality end-user experience for Basware employees and external contractors in all Basware locations so that they can be efficient and collaborative in their daily work.
