Epec is a heavily developing and growing technology company leading to very interesting tendering processes and supplier selections in the area of control systems, electromobility and autonomous vehicles. We understand that the successful component and service procurement plays an essential role and for that reason, we are strengthening our sourcing team by a Sourcing Manager.

In this position you will have full responsibility of the sourcing strategy execution and development, sourcing spend management including direct and indirect purchases, as well as supplier management, performance evaluation and development. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading Epec sourcing team professionals and developing the operations and competence. In addition, you are part of project teams having the main responsibility of contract negotiations, procurement risk management and supplier validations and selections. You will be a part of our Supply Chain team which assures a high-quality, accurate and cost-efficient value delivery to our customers. You shall also work closely with several internal stakeholders.

We expect you to have an applicable education and at least 5 years of experience in similar tasks, preferably with electronic and/or electric component sourcing in a manufacturing environment. We value an analytical, proactive, and target-oriented way of working with a solid track record of successful category management and supply chain management. You should be familiar with supplier contract management and have financial understanding of common cost structure and TOC (total cost of ownership). We appreciate flexibility, ability to handle multiple tasks and an attitude toward continuous improvement. The ability to negotiate and communicate in both English and in Finnish is essential for this position. This position requires occasional travelling.
