Our company is looking for a quality-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer who will be responsible for supplier quality performance measuring, evaluation and continuous development and supplier validation. You will participate in the development of future technology in the area of control systems, electromobility and autonomous vehicles where the product quality requirements of our customers’ complex off-highway and commercial vehicle system supply projects are constantly increasing. You should be situated in Seinäjoki.

At this position you should effectively assess and evaluate suppliers’ technical capabilities and execute supplier validations and audits. Supplier product quality evaluation, supplier quality claim management, root cause investigations and corrective action plan management are essential parts of this position. You will also be responsible for supporting suppliers’ own quality development and process improvement to secure continuously decreasing component product cost and improved quality level by using relevant Quality Planning and Quality Management processes and tools (such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, etc).

We expect you to have an applicable education and experience in quality systems and processes in manufacturing environment. You should have strong competence in supplier validation process and the Lead Auditor certificate is considered an advantage. We hope you to have an ability to use statistical process controlling problem analysing/solving tools (8D, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, etc). Green Belt certificate and experience to comply with IATF16949 standard are a plus. Ability to negotiate and communicate both internally and externally proficiently in English and in Finnish is essential in this position. Ability to travel occasionally is also important. But most importantly you should be energetic fast learner who is able to adapt to changing situations and is able to multitask.
