Usability Engineer f/m/d

Your responsibilities:

• Create and improve user experiences for desktop and web products
• Plan, conduct and evaluate usability tests and research
• Work closely with developers and product management
• Analyze, evaluate and optimize interfaces with users and customers
• Create mockups, click dummies and pixel perfect UIs
• Create and maintain design and interaction guidelines
• Create prototypes and solutions that are in tune with other AVL products
• Support projects from start to implementation
• Support product management with user requirements
• Create icons and graphics
• Continuously improve our technologies and processes together with the UX team

Your profile:

• Degree in usability, communication, interaction, design, psychology, sociology or information technology
• Sound knowledge of usability, user experience and data driven experience design
• Proficiency with design tools such as Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Creative and analytical thinking
• Good team player, independent and high social competence
• Sound knowledge of English
• Basic understanding of programming principles
• Several years of working in creating user experiences for complex desktop, mobile and web applications would be beneficial
