Our company is looking for a professional to develop functional safety solutions for mobile machine control systems. In this position, you will design and implement software to meet the required safety levels up to PL d/SIL2.

In your work you need to able to identify safety related software requirements and manage the implementation of solutions according to the engineering process. Experience with programmable control systems is considered an advantage. Epec’s certified safety controllers are programmed according to IEC 61131-3 (PLC Logic). Suitable education for this position is e.g. B.Sc. or M.Sc in Engineering. The ability to work both in Finnish and English is required.

We prefer experience of functional safety application development. Experience with European Machine Directive, ISO 13849 and IEC 61508 standards is also considered an advantage.
