Multiskilled IT Specialist

We are looking for a multiskilled IT specialist to be part of Group IT team to focus on IT support for stores and offices group wide. A typical work day starts at Kista, Stockholm or Käpylä Helsinki office by scratching office dogs and solving a couple of issues with your office colleague’s laptops. Next stop is at the store where you’ll replace one broken POS. After the installation, you will head to your home office and participate in a project follow up meeting by Skype. In addition, you’ll give support for store personnel and help them to make excellent customer service both at the store and online channels. Is this a day at work you would enjoy? Key responsibilities in this position are the on-site and remote support for the office and store people. With our wide store network (over 270 stores), it is vital to have excellent communication, co-operation and facilitation skills. Incident and problem management are the core of your daily tasks. We appreciate pragmatic, down to earth, hands-on way of working and experience in retail and online business in a multinational environment. Fluent language skills in English and Swedish is needed, Finnish language is a plus. Driving license and car is needed as well as willingness to travel to our Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway and Finland). Main location could be either in Stockholm or Helsinki.

From IT services point of view the following skills are needed to succeed in this position:

• good understanding of corporate IT infrastructure and store network incl. security
• experience in supporting and managing Windows server and workstation environments incl. MS Office
• solid understanding of networking concepts including routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, WLANs and IP address management
• experience in retail network and related IT solutions in store environment (like POS, payment terminals, store counters) is appreciated
• point of sales application knowledge (especially Microsoft Dynamic NAV and LS Retail) is a benefit
• knowledge of software distribution and imaging is highly appreciated (especially Miradore)

We often have dogs in the office, therefore the work is not suitable for a person who is allergic to pets.
